The third attempt of keeping a frag tank

Hey!

I am making this thread partly to try and keep myself accountable to maintain a new frag tank setup.

A little context: I currently have a 200 gallon mixed reef that usually takes up most of my time which is why the frag tank gets neglected

Anyways hopefully getting water in the system tonight!

I’m in the same boat. I setup an old 20 gallon that I figured would work fine until I get some positive results from tending to 2 tanks. It’s only been two weeks and I’m aborting that plan. Now I’m planning on either buying a shallow All-in-one, or plumbing a small 18x18 next to the display.

I’ve always wanted to plumb a frag tank into my main system that’s sweet!
