Few concerts in history can raise to the occasion. This being one. Wood stock with Jimmy Hendrix performing the star spangled banner being another. Cheap Trick live at Budokan also fits the bill. But Freddy? No one compares.

I still spool their music here and there but really wish the band would have stopped touring after he passed. Not a fan of Adam at the helm but I fully understand it is a personal thing. No more than I like the random people the Doors had fronting them and Journey.

Steve Perry - there is another fine lad who can sing.

I guess I am the odd man out on Queen. Never really was a fan and I bought none of their music - or even copied it for free. :) That’s ok though. My taste in music is admittedly “different.” :p

I enjoy it when people look though my CD collection and don’t recognize much. :) I haven’t really listened to the radio since the mid 70s, so I find music in different ways. A lot of people in my collection I know personally.

I never cared for Queen until the Live Aid
concert. Freddie completely captivated me. Diversity is something I think Freddie would celebrate right along with us.

He captivated everyone. If you are one of the few lucky enough to see the concert live you would know how ridiculously easy it was, effortlessly I guess maybe better, reaching the audience. He had them eating out of his hand. Not only a great singer but you could tell he enjoyed the stage. Stage - that was his and he sure did own it.

Never saw them live. I enjoy the odd songs more from them. Seven seas of rhye and mothers love - two different styles...oh well.

Edit: you - just a figure of speech or lack of proper working on my part upon looking back at this. Not you as in you :) I guess I'm a mess today.

Just in case, I wanted to make sure to wish all the dads of two legged/four legged or both a Happy Father’s Day! Hope you all have a wonderful day..stay safe!

Ever notice how similar diversity and division are? Compare that to the national motto E Pluribus Unum "Out of many, one". Perhaps we have forgotten something important as each tribe attempts to raise it's standard above another's and forfeit the privilege of being one out of many! Diversity created the greatest experiment in freedom the world has ever known. Freedom and liberty are messy and require constant tending and care. We only arrive, if we arrive together and determined to let the experiment continue. May you each prosper and find success again for the day!
