I would like to see a remake of iron eagleI have mixed feelings about it. It has the same feeling as an 80's rock band making a comeback tour by adding a young lead guitarist. It may be better to let the memory be savored rather than risk tainting it with a poor attempt at a money grab. We will see how it goes!
That's a great idea. I tried using the chisel and NOPE.Try drilling it in the areas you want it to break before breaking it, create weak spot to cause it to break where you want it to. Still may not be perfect breaks but may be closer to what you want.
3/4 height. Right?Remember not to bring the rock up too high, the corals will need space to grow into.
Only time I use a chisel on rocks is when I just need chunks and don't care how they break. No control on how they break with a chisel. That's a great idea. I tried using the chisel and NOPE.

It's not just you, with the rock being so porous it breaks where it wants to unless ya cut it.
And clams!!! WOW!Stacking rock is like playing Jenga. I don't know why everyone stresses over stacking rock, it will just be hidden by corals.
Beautiful! You know you can't mix leathers, softies, and sps, right?Stacking rock is like playing Jenga. I don't know why everyone stresses over stacking rock, it will just be hidden by corals.
That's a beauty! I agree.Stacking rock is like playing Jenga. I don't know why everyone stresses over stacking rock, it will just be hidden by corals.
I don't stress over stacking. I stress over gluing.
Yes! I actually am only gluing specific structures. I have some little guys that need shelter that will protect them if they feel threatened.I where earplugs not to listen to the idiots inside my head who have been arguing over it's time to epoxy the rocks versus leaving them as is in case I have to pull them out for a rip clean. They won't shut up.
