sorry to hear ,there is enough of us to get you back going when ready...Well, my Pirate’s Reef that survived almost a month without power in the aftermath of Hurricane Laura, has succumbed to the dry out process. Either the constant 92° temps caused by the dehumidifiers and fans, or the anti microbial that they sprayed throughout the house did everything in, except the snails. So, I am basically out of reefing now.

Thanks, but I am not sure I am anywhere near ready to return. The hobby has taken over my house. May need to reevaluate my needs and wants. I mean seriously, I ordered my tank in 2015 and it only was set up for three weeks and had nothing in it.sorry to hear ,there is enough of us to get you back going when ready...
We are ok. It gets to my wife every now and then. I mean the house is not even livable at the moment. Staying with my mother (who is 85) is not easy. Her and my wife get cross with each other often. Just not an ideal situation. At least we aren’t sleeping in the yard. How are you, the Mrs and mother in law, you had a tough ride and hopefully the reef bug will return?!
True story. I knew a guy whose wife contracted a hitman to murder him. The hitman was actually an FBI agent (they had been tipped off by her friend). They faked his death by squirting him with darkened ketchup and taking a photo of him lying in the trunk of a car. Showed her the photo, she paid him, and is now in jail. Your fact for the day - ketchup is the secret tool of the FBI.Broke and stuck in an unhappy marriage, a husband decided to take out a large insurance policy on his wife with himself as the beneficiary and then have her killed. He contacted a figure named “Artie.” Artie explained to the husband that his going price for snuffing out a spouse was $10,000 and he needed a deposit. The man opened his wallet, displaying the single dollar bill that rested inside. Artie sighed, rolled his eyes, and agreed to accept the dollar as a down payment for the deed. Artie followed the man’s wife to Costco. He surprised her in the produce department and proceeded to strangle her. The manager of the produce department stumbled unexpectedly onto the murder scene. Ol’ Artie had no choice but to strangle the produce manager too. Unknown to Artie, the entire proceedings were captured by the security cameras and observed by the security guard, who called the police. Artie was caught and arrested.
The next day in the newspaper, the headline read, “ARTIE CHOKES 2 for $1.00 @ Costco.”
So the real lesson here is... Ask for video proof?True story. I knew a guy whose wife contracted a hitman to murder him. The hitman was actually an FBI agent (they had been tipped off by her friend). oops wrong thread ehh...lol..Thing is weather has been getting more and more distant from what used to be the norm. I know that climate change can be a touchy subject but that’s what’s driving stuff like this. Heck. Here in Indiana it’s barely 60 degrees F a few days before June. Five years ago it would have been in the 80s and humid from late April onward.
things change...
