Ooh I love the idea of falconry too…

I got to spend some time at a rescue that had a pair of Cape Griffin vultures ( that they were trying to breed as they were extinct in the wild) and a male bateleur among others. Spending time with them was a dream.
Not falconry but probably as close as I’ll come.

That's really cool too! There's a nature center really cost to my house that has various birds and wildlife. Wildlife at a nature center! What will they think of next? That's probably as close as I will get. Between the tanks and other hobbies and work...

Yesterday we were walking Skeletor and he just stopped and stared ahead. Followed his line of sight and realized he was staring at a hawk on the ground in a yard up ahead of us. After a few moments he must have decided the beak and talons weren't worth the risk of getting close and promptly turned around to go back the way we came.

Probably wise of him. Not sure if my dog would have the same self preservation instinct. He was afraid of the Clydesdale at my friend's house though.

My dog will stand up to most things, big and small, especially if they run they get his attention which I guess it’s from instinct, but he’s all bark no bite and if whatever he sees or you come running towards him he’ll bolt. So he’s more of a coward

Mine wants to know what's going on. He'll push in if something or someone is getting attention but otherwise is happy to just be around. He is generally curious but I'm not surprised that he was scared of the giant horse.

Keep an eye on the Citron and that theyre getting food. They can be finicky eaters at first
Thanks. everyone has been a little hesitant to eat, but I can outwait them at dinner time, sitting on the floor watching the Mysis blow around. I will make sure he eats at least twice before I start copper. Do they prefer something more than mysis?

Copper is in at what should be full strength. And the bottle is now empty, so I hope it stays that way.
The big tank is cycled, so it's a matter of getting everything moved over and the rest of the water in. Then to sell the old tanks and remember what the living room was like before.

In other tanked news, the mead is crashing in the kegorator. It should be bottled Sunday or so. We'll see how it turns out.
