So I accidentally broke off a small bit from my Birdsnest. In my rush of panic, I glued it onto a frag disc...in hindsight, I may have gone overboard...

Don't worry, it'll probably be a full colony in a week!

Ok - I have a confession to make. I've accidentally broken some small frags of acro but unless they are "high-end", I'm just too lazy to rescue them from the bottom floor. Am I alone? I do feel guilty letting them wither away though...

This is a horrible example of cellphone photography, so please excuse the bad picture. The little piece of leather coral at the base and behind the main stalk fell off in the shipping bag. I stuck it beneath the frag rock because I felt bad throwing it away, not expecting anything from it. Lo and behold, it's attached and grown a little bit. Two leathers for the price of one!

I used to pick them up and glue them to a plug. Now it's only if they are high end like you. I have a pile of orange monti cap growing on the bottom where the tangs keep fragging it. I used to break a coral every time I put my hands in the tank. I'm getting better but think only because I'm spending more on frags so I'm being more careful. LPS still get mad when I try to suck them up in the hose :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Pheeeew -- ok, glad that I'm not the only frag "murderer" out there! lol -- I mean, corals are "animals" after all but realistically, when you have (multiple) colonies of these things, fragging and gluing them can be a pain.

It will do great, I have to frag mine when it takes up to much real estate.

Big frag disk for a little coral, hope it does well for you. Don't give the vendors any ideas with the frag size though, or they'll be selling birdsnest by the polyp!
Pretty sure my LFS is selling millepora that way.

I have bubble gum digi everywhere in one of my nanos. I don't even know what to do with it.

If anyone is in Jacksonville Florida, I have lots of bubble gum digi, daisy cutter zoas and a few heads of frammer.

For free.

Can we get an update? New polyps, coralline settling on the plug, starting to base out?
