Wow! Your aquascape is impressive and aesthetically pleasing! I am fond of 2 islands, especially when one is smaller than the other because it’s dynamic!

Nice carpet, too! It’s colorful! Lol

Thank you! In the immortal words of the Big Lebowski, "it really ties the room together".

"The Wrassetafarian" has come out of the sandbed and is happily exploring its new digs. Sorry the pics aren't better, I didn't want to spook it. I'll try to get better pics for Wrasse-Wednesday:

is it eating?
Live foods, yes. It seemed more curious about its surroundings. I have massive amphipod and copepod populations, so it has a happy hunting ground. I'll be trying to get it started on a mix of prepared foods, but for now I'm observing how it does in the DT.

So, in an attempt to see if The Wrasstafarian would eat frozen foods, I bombarded the tank with a stew of enriched brine, mysis, cyclopods, mega marine, squid, and plankton. Defrosted it all in some tank water, mixed in some calanus for good measure, and then bathed it all in garlic, selcon, and aminos.

I'm happy to announce that it ate like a little piggy! It's also been actively hunting all day, which is good because he's a little thin, but the fact that it is eating frozen is fantastic! Leopards can be finicky.
