I got a jump start on the controller cabinet this morning, and since the new jig arrived yesterday evening, I was able to bore out the hinge pockets on the front door:

...and to once again show the good with the bad, before the jig broke yesterday, I didn't account for the full 3/4" width of the cabinet wall and drilled the first two pockets in the wrong space. So, I had to come up with a hot fix to fill them in. For this, I made some plugs out of scrap 1/8" ply and glued them in surrounded by wood filler. This will delay me for a few hours while they set, but that's the price I pay for stupidity. lol. I should still be able to sand everything down later this afternoon, and at least get the first coat of primer on everything.
