i have never heard of anyone allergic to salt... MSG gives me a bellyache when i eat more than 20 cheezits

It technically isn't an allergy, per se. Some people are sensitive to it and have severe reactions. It was demonized in the late 60's and the reputation stuck. For 99% of the population it is fine, and your body processes it like normal sodium.

It's drinkable.. It has a very strange mouth feel. It's hard to describe. Closest I can get it saying it feels like it coats your tongue like Pepto.
I wouldn't buy it again.
