Back in March, Johann lost vision in his right eye due to glaucoma and we have been managing his introcular pressure(s) with a regimen of eye drops and medications to keep him comfortable. Unfortunately, his pressure in the right eye spiked to really dangerous levels. He just went in for emergency surgery to remove his eye this morning. The procedure is fast and relatively simple, but at his age, the anesthesia is the big concern. If prayer is tour thing, we'd appreciate them, otherwise positive energy and good vibes will do.

We're home. Everything went well. He is still loopy from the anesthesia, though. I'm currently in his office puppy bed with him. Thanks for all the love and support!

Ty! He's actually healing extremely fast. His wound site looks phenomenal for being 6 days post surgery and he could honestly care less about it. The visor is more to keep him from bumping into anything and irritating it more than anything else, since he isn't trying to scratch at it. More importantly, however, he's back to his normal, goofy self!
