I finally got around to setting up the new Kalk Reactor from @geo ! For those that follow me, you know that I'm a fan of his gear. For those perhaps lurking, or maybe just joining us, his build quality is a known quantity to me- hands down the best in the business.

Here are some pics of the setup process from layout through mixing.

If you've ever used a Nielsen Reactor before, the setup should feel familiar. For those that haven't, it is actually quite intuitive.

First of all, the manual is provided via QR code, which saves paper, so big plus there! More importantly, however, the instructions are clear, concise, and walk you through everything step-by-step. I was taking my sweet-butt (lol censor) time and got it up and running in about an hour.

I currently have it running off of a Neptune Pmup in my ATO res, and I'm running all of my topoff through it. My system's calcium and alkalinity demand is ridiculous right now. I also just increased the output of the CaRx, which I'm running at 6.4, steady.

For the record, this is not a paid review or anything. The equipment was purchased by me, and this mini review is my honest, un-biased opinion.

My BF asked me - if Adel turned into a lizard person right in front of you what would you do?

Response- this is a prime example of why I have a CCP …. Adel the lizard person would be no more….
