No only certain parts. A majority being more in the toe of the boot. I know there were swamps around Hahnville, Boutte, Paradis, Luling,…there are lots of marsh lands especially past Cut Off. I grew up in Louisiana, Moms family is from Hahnville some even from Cut Off.Hey, not all of Louisiana is swamp!

Good dead animal disposal. When one of our pets died, my mom would bring it over to the old couple living across the street for a "burial" and the old man would just toss it into the ditch behind his house. I knew little of this at the time.Ooooo snappers!!! Mean suckers!
