The substrate in the fuge is relatively light at the surface, and given the lower Kelvin rating of the light in there (closer to 7000k), I'm afraid the orange would be bland and make it difficult to see. I stewed over this last night...

I'm about to send another email to TBS.
Sorry thought you had mud. If sand then yeah maybe the dark one.

It's a mix, with layers comprised of mud and 3 grain sizes of aragonite. The top layers are definitely lighter.

Just back from bottomless brunch with The Dainty Dictator. Food coma setting in, so I declare nap time! I'm gonna dream of murderbugs.

Be back later.

TSM is holding an orange one at the moment.
I just woke up from my nap to a reply from Wen to my email from this morning. TBS will be sending me the dark green one with yellow highlights.

New to your thread and wanted to say the tank is looking great, read through the last 50 pages or so and it sounds like quite a journey. I had a mini crass caused by a screw falling into my topoff water (took a ICP test to find and detox to get the tin out of my tank) so I know the feeling of what you went through glad you caught it quick. I love the mangroves as well. I have a pretty large specimen in my sump and they really are a neat addition. Looking forward to following along - Len
