What smoker did you get? That looks great.

Bradley smoker. It auto feeds wood pucks which they sell. I also found out websites where it shows you how to make the pucks and save $$$$..I am going to do that..You order bags of wood that have been processed and you and a small amount of gelatin and water and press them...

the Bradley smoker is really cool. It auto feeds a puck, burns for 20 minutes and then dumps the burnt one into a pan of water. Auto feeds the next puck and so on. You can use many different types of wood pucks. Xmas I smoked turkey for 12 hours. alternating 2 hours maple, 2 hours apple. My friend has a different brand and he has to empty the drawer, clean it out and refill it or he gets that burnt wood taste...He is throwing his old one out...Mrs 1 Ocean loves it she even adds wood to it. You just fill the side pipe...

In other news, I was largely quiet yesterday because I broke my foot. Well, two toes and a metatarsal. I was in the garage without shoes on and smashed my foot into the base of the weight bench. It's pretty gnarly looking and hurts like a ****. ***

Could probably repurpose trash compactor for that. Like pressin' bricks of weed.

It'll be going in a boot. There isn't much that can be done, so I'm waiting until after the holiday. There was gross deformity, but I already reduced the fx and dislocation of the 4th digit myself. So, for now, it is set back in place. My concern is metatarsal involvement, but like I said- after the holiday. It isn't in danger of falling off at the moment.
