Nice shot.
That pink is really pink.. and that is only a through-the-glass-picture... imagine a top-down ... ;Drool;Drool;Drool

Are you happy about the Tunze wavemakers?

I love the tunze wavemakers, just added a third and it's really filled the little gaps and deadpots nicely. Love them, silent, very strong, great warranty.

And i'm guessing you're talking about this pink one, which just wants to encrust forever!

It seems like most of your frags have the same encrusting behaviour.
They are all very well spread and have a huge base.

I have one staghorn that refuses to encrust. Luckily I put enough putty to keep it in place because it only wants to go up.

Yeah I think it's because I've been aggressively fragging them so they don't grow into one another. There's a couple that really encrust like crazy though.. I also believe I don't have enough light still. I've added a lot more white, red, and green spectrum to help out. I may throw on a t5 as well

The sand is back in... Very course sand, thanks to @mdbannister -- Tropic Eden ReefFlakes. Big fan of course sand, no worries about blowing sand everywhere and it just looks better. Course sand is easier to keep clean as well..

Most importantly -- Nutrient stability will return. This is a big deal to me, lol.

So to get back to your original question @Amoo -- What am I gonna do with all these frags?

Get a bigger frag tank...

That is great sand to use. The only issue with it is you don't stir it up, it will turn pink from coralline algae.

I've got a leopard wrasse, he cant stop stirring it up. He's so happy to have a bigger bed than his sand cup lol

Looking great Rakie.
The tank looks so much different with the sand. The wrasse must think he won the lottery.

There are a couple of people that following this thread who might help with all the frags too.... Lol.

lol, thanks @Janci -- I definitely have a bit of frags, some of them will move to the frag tank and grow out, and some of them will go to the rockwork. I'll put the nicer/more valuable stuff on the rockwork in the main display.. The frag tank is for my zoas, shrooms, blah blah. The frag tank looks NOTHING like a tank of course, but I kinda enjoy how it looks. It's like a gallery but not a tank.

The good thing with the frag tank is I won't have to tone down my display tank to grow shrooms. The bad thing is it's gonna be pretty low flow.... Which means my SPS that don't make it to the display may not be too happy.

When your purple/blue mushroom splits, please let me know. I am a little infatuated with him.
The last new one I got? It actually has a baby when I got it. The thing spits out babies like a well fare queen

Strange. I'm wasn't getting notices again when you posted on this thread. Are you unsubscribing me :)
(I had Watch this Thread clicked, but not Receive Emails. FIXED now)

BTW. Sand looks great in your tank. Makes your Great looking Frags look GREATER.

that seems to happen a lot... It happens to me all the time. I think you need to tag people once in awhile to keep notifications going. @Amoo had noticed the same thing. And I think he would enjoy your build thread actually.

And thanks, I think course sand is the best choice for keeping things clean and nice looking. And my fat leopard stirs sand up so well I won't have to worry about it turning coralline pink

Updated pic of my BMF bounce -- She's on a 4" tile, and just turned my frag tank to a low flow tank just for her.. She's over 4" totally opened up.
