Just resetting up my 220 again & already have a few angels in my Qt. Majestic, Multi Bar, & female masked Japanese swallowtail. Will be adding quite a few more Angels with a Conspic being the center piece.

No. I am on a waiting list for a Tigerpyge and also a CB Clarion. Would be extremely difficult to find a misbar like that not having tranship lists, they never last long. Interruptus stay too small for my liking. Sometimes my 6" Conspicuous gets lost in my tank, so something that get 4" at the largest would literally disappear in the tank and for the money one will cost (even at wholesale pricing) I'm good

This was my pair from a few years ago before I tore down my 220.

I didn't take this pic. The store I purchased them from did. I currently have a female

lol I remember when they were for sale. I had the pic saved on my iPad for a while. Are you getting a male for your current female? Or pairing anther female to let your current female become the male?

I'm only going to have the single female this time. Don't want to risk eventually having 2 males & one killing the other.

I don't think your solitary female will turn into a male by herself. I had a large female for a couple years without any sign of change. Around 3 weeks of getting two smaller females the larger female quickly became a male. Recently I gave the male away. It's only been 2 and half weeks and the transformation has begun on the larger of the remaining females. First the dorsal fin begins to darken and the yellow fades away. The V in the caudal fin begins to fade to a dark grey with the appearance of small light grey dots. While the body darkens overall. Next several yellow spots appear underneath the eye, at the joint of the pectoral fin and a spot on the lower chest. Then slowly I noticed the striping appear starting from the caudal fin moving toward the head. The yellow begins to emerge on the face and the black V on the tail is nearly gone. After a few weeks the newly changed male has taken his place. I'm staring at my female/soon to be male as I type this. lol
Amazing to watch the transformation.

I know the female won't turn into a male. But if I add another female chances are they will both end up a male eventually.
