Well, do any of you remember when the hammer was the size of a tennis ball?

He’s now much larger than one! And has a good 15 heads :)

I’m glad I was able to get him out of the high light levels (350-400 PAR) and into a lower lighting (150-200 PAR) as he was looking as though he was going to bail and instead recovered nicely.

I do wish he branched put into the lower left more though as currently from the front he looks more like a box.

Update for this week…
I finally got the Colonies on the rocks!
The Microclados is sat at a 90ish degree angle to plate out properly and the Mille is just sat upright minding his own business. Yes some of my duplicate frags have gone to my 4’ tank however those are mainly rainbow milles (Which I have like another 3 of anyway).

Spots is still loving life!
She certainly has a preference of where she sits in the morning haha.I’m excited to watch as she grows and gets fatter. The rings around her are definitely what make this species my favourite of the Dragonets, just look at the blues. They are stunning :)

Today will be the last time being near my tanks until next Monday. Going to Amsterdam for a few days :)

Those Dino’s gone?
I wish… as soon as any form of neglect comes to the tank (e.g. Lack of Water change for just 4 days extra) they’re back but worse.

Darn. I hadn’t seen any in any of your pictures so I had hoped but at least you have some sort of control over them.

Here’s a photo through the glasses.
Usually before photos I use a badger and hit them off the rocks with it so you do t often see them. They also vanish in the night so when I get photos of spots they’re hard to see.

A badger? Does a badger do a good job? I'd worry about the hair.

The corals and clams look healthy though!

I’m surprised you got measurable manganese. Are you dosing it?
The only thing I dose is All For Reef which I believe may have manganese in it.

Definitely not enough to get it measurable on an ICP though. Manganese depletes VERY rapidly.

Most salts don't have a lot of manganese to begin with. Topic marine actually adds more manganese than other companies.

It’s strange, the only place I can think it’s from is the salt I use but even then I don’t think that salt doses Manganese to a measurable level.

I don't see any goniopora and they are the bigger user of it. From my understanding.
