After 20 years I am going to get back into the hobby without breaking the bank (maybe?) and I have a few questions about the Tenecor AIO.

Tank: 40 gallon breeder (from petco)

Will a SICCE 2.0 fit in the return chamber? Or would it be better to go with the 1.5?

Skimmer:
Do people use HOB skimmers or can a skimmer fit in the middle chamber with this AOI?

Lights:
I am looking at getting 2x Nicrew 50w . Seems like a decent option to keep softies?

Thank you for any unsolicited advise as well :)

Tenecor's AIO is 17.45" x 5" x 15.625".

The Sicce 2.0 is 4.84" x 3.35" x 4.13"

You can adjust the length of the return area to suite but if kept at 5 inches to match the overflow size it should still fit. (barely)

There are skimmers that should fit in the middle chamber but a hang on one would give you some room for other filter media.

Possibly consider spending a bit more on a DC pump. You can adjust the flow to match the intake if needed and the feed timer is handy.

(should also fit return chamber) :)

I am unfamiliar with those lights but they seem like they'd be fine, depending on mounting height.

Thank you for taking time to reply.

Edit: After watching a few videos I think that skimmer will work great and wont be an eyesore.
