i snagged one of those(Amazeballs) locally last week. Right now we have 8 different kinds in our tank (most not named).

Amazeballs is nice, but I like contrast of colors.

I was just at Reefapalooza and there were a few beauties there. One looked similar to amazeballs but was a little different. I forgot the name of it though.

What about nitrates?

Nitrates are around 25 typically. They're sitting at 24.

Interesting. So I've had that strand before, confirmed via microscope. Yes, I had to turkey baste it off where it was touching the corals to prevent stinging, but rapidly bumping nutrients knocked them out in a week or two.

Having said that, it's been a long time since I've had to deal with that, and only ever done so once nutrients bottom out. That was just my experience, at least.

So they do sting? There were some strings on my Bower and when I basted them off, there were some white marks that looked like stings.
