Hello all idk if this is the right place to post I’m new to this still I have a in 28 gallon and I’ve had it for a couple months now anyways the plastic trim on the top where the lid sits has started a small gradual leak does anyone have any suggestions on how I should fix this? I have corals and no where to move them to and can’t afford another tank to temporarily put them in is there anything other than completely tearing the top off and resealing it that I can do or is there no other option

No ideas about your leak, but you don't need a tank for temporally holding stock. A Rubbermaid tote or two will do. Any food safe vessel large enough will do.

Maybe pictures of the tank would help with the leak question.

I can get pictures shortly but I have a really large rock with corals attached to it and an anemone I was gifted is there anything I could use for that?

The area circled is where it’s leaking from

Move that powerhead over to the right and see if it still leaks. Trying to say it might be from splash more then a leak. Might eliminate needing to fix for now. You could also drop water level a few inches, clean out old caulk and recaulk in place. Would have to make sure water doesn't go stagnate in the back though.

I have turned off the powerhead for the night to see if it is still leaking in the morning I’m also doing a water change tomorrow I may be able to reseal it then I have to re level the tank as well I’ll also turn down my return pumps so I don’t need the water level so high
