I have a nuvo 20 pro that sits on an aquarium stand and the leveling mat innovative marine sells with it. My display water level is off. I measured it and one side is 1 inch versus the other side being 1 inch and 1/4. I put a level to the tank and stand and all seems level. Is there something going on with my return that one side is being sucked through the overflow faster ? Does anyone have the same issue with this tank ?

My mp10 shoots that way but it’s only at 20% and I just added it. I thought maybe one side was draining slowing due to a sock being on the left and media basket being on the right

Turn off all flow then recheck after a few minutes. If it's still unlevel with no flow, your level is off without a doubt.

Stopped all flow and yeah it’s not level. Will this create an issue ? It’s sitting on one of those I/m self leveling mats of foam they give you with the pro

Use shims between the floor and stand to level it where needed. I like the composite ones for tanks. They don't seem to compress over time time.

Measure all four corners of the display and adjust accordingly.

Hey something I can answer confidently!! That's not a level..it's a floating bubble accurate within an inch at 3ft. Buy a real level and check rim to rim. Solved
I agree, but the tape and water level just showed what a proper 3' level would.

Also, OP don't use a mat to level the tank. Follow the suggestions that say to level the stand instead.

yeah, you should use a longer level that spans the tank. At least it's not a lot of weight that you can shim. Probably during a water change to make it lighter.

As others said you need a bigger level. 2 or 4 foot. I level left to right in the front and back, from front to back on both left and right and then diagonal, both diagonals. Then fill it and measure using the tape correctly. Don't clip it over and accept whatever it catches on as a start point. Move to a point on the tape such as the 2 inch mark and go from there. Read the sixteenth's at least.
You only have to set the level once then your done.

I’ll see about getting a longer more accurate level. Then I’ll drain it 90 percent this weekend and level it. I appreciate the help. Shouldn’t be too hard since it’s only a 20 gallon.
