Still searching for an ID for this funky little, maybe anemone!

This is fully extended. When disturbed it will retract its tentacles and flatten onto the rock. Any Ideas? It's about the size of a nickel and has not grown like the rest. Either a slow grower or full grown. Thank you!

It's never moved from that spot. It also appears to be completely open.

I was leaning towards nudibranch of some sort but if it doesn't move then that rules that out.

The closest thing I've seen is a banded bead anemone. Even that is still quite different.

It was my guess when I posted it the last time. I just wasn't finding anything quite like it. I imagine they can be very individual.

It's definitely a nem, with a pretty distinctive column and foot there. My first thought would be an Actiniid nem, possibly like the Collared Sand Anemone, Actinostella flosculifera, but I'm honestly not sure.

Maybe one of the nem guys like @bradleym or @OrionN would be able to confirm or have a different idea here.

The day my knowledge can out-shine you on ANYTHING in the ocean is the day I buy myself a crown. Glad you were able to provide an ID, although I'm not at all surprised you nailed it.
