That’s the one I won. It works well, but I sometimes have to quit out of the camera app and restart to get brighter pics. Dunno why. Using iPhone 13 Pro

Yes same here. Seems upon launch the camera app does som form of auto tune to lighting conditions. I sometimes have to exit the app and reopen while pointing at the tank for it to work better.

New video and FTS. Got my Fluval canister up and running again. Had to replace the motor head.

Tank settling in nicely from some changes. Replaced one of the rocks(monti/digi) as I wasn’t happy with it and this slightly larger one fits what I was looking for I think. Sorry for the super ginormous photo upload. It had been a few days and I was really pretty happy with the tank today

Have you ever heard of refugite? It’s a mineral substrate for sumps and refugiums and it naturally replenishes / releases manganese and other trace elements. It says it reproduces Indo-Pacific lagoon habitats where corals like goniopora thrive.

I decided to add some to my sump today. I placed in a zipper mesh bag in chamber 1 of my sump, and laid it flat directly under the tanks drain tubing.

This way I can remove it if I need to, and I can keep it contained in one spot. Going to watch and see if I have any positive impacts on my goniopora and LPS

Keep me appraised. I’m interested in seeing if it works. I can try it in bags in my canister filter.
