Starting a 60 gallon rimless cube

I also have a 50gallon cube with 1 AI Sol Blue. I have my lights about 12" above the water line (awl) and so far so good. Also... the ehiem 1262 might be a little much. That's what i started with ( I run a carbon reactor and my skimmer feed off of my return)and i went down to a 1260.

WOW! very beautiful cube!!!!!!! are you growing any sps with the AIs? if so how are they doing?

The tank has only been up since January 2nd so not much time under the AI Sol to get a real feel, as i have been slowing ramping them up. It seems good so far.

just got my mp10w es today!!!!! hopefully getting the tank filled tomorrow!!!!!

finished wiring and plumbing the tank. Just have to hang the leds tomorrow and put water in.

So here is a pic of the tank filled with just 2 pieces of live rock weighing 22 lbs total. I will buy more in a few weeks, just starting to cycle the tank.
