Am I included in getting the pack???

You originally opted out of the replacements when I sent everyone the pms, maybe if the group wants to work something out.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to drop by and express a few concerns. As you know, Joker295 contacted me about a replacement pack and requested to take the place of bct15 as the grower. He received the replacement frags via Fedex on 3/01, complimenting the shipping methods on this thread as well as directly to me via pm. What some of you may or may not know is that Joker295 contacted on Monday, 3/05, claiming that only two frags had opened and two of the closed frags had melted. He claimed that the heatpack was not warm and the bags were cold when the package was received. I asked him if he was able to photograph a digital thermometer reading and he denied having one. This would have been valuable information, because a "cold" bag could mean anything essentially cooler than room temp, and the difference between 70 degrees and 55 degrees could prove fatal for coral. He also mentioned performing an iodine dip on the incoming frags. It is possible that the heatpack failed, but it was warm when I sent it. And why the 4 days before of informing me of this? I am not trying to imply that Joker295 is dishonest, I am sure that some of you know him personally and he's probably a really nice guy. After much consideration, I decided that I want to do what's right for the group and all the other parties involved who have no control over this situation. That's why I am willing to replace the melted zoas at no additional charge, but I will no longer be dealing with Joker295. Please elect someone who is detail-oriented and willing to cooperate with the following demands: 1) sending clear photographs within 2 hours of arrival and clearly communicate any problems with shipping, 2) use of the non-iodine dipping solution that I will send along with the replacements. The replacement frags will be generous and healed for at least two weeks. Unfortunately, there are no more soprano morphs in my possession, so for that particular frag I am willing to provide a full refund or substitute something else from my extensive collection.

Thank you for you patience and understanding in this situation.

~Travis

@Akwarius-thank you for dropping in. Joker had PM'd us about the communication for replacements and your offer to replace the lost frags and that there wasn't a Soprano morph available, but that you had offered a replacement for it or credit. I don't know where in the process we are after that. Thank you very much for standing behind your coral, it is very much appreciated and understood that you are going well above and beyond. Thank you!

Joker has been a stand up guy in my dealings with him as well. We have had another dealing besides this grow out. So I hope that the two of you are able to work out the differences with this incident at some point.

I am fairly new, and although I have had good success in the past 6 months, I don't feel that I would be ready to take on a grow out. If BCT is still available to take the additional frags, I would be very appreciative of that.

As far as the credit/substitution goes. It would be great if you could either post or pm a list. I could throw out names, but don't know how productive that would be. :)

Again, thank you so much.

thanks again for replacing the frags Akwarius ... like i explained i shot you a pm through my phone and thought it went through but didnt thats why i pmed you again..sorry for not following up on the weekend.. i asked what was the time on the heat pack bc i noticed it was not warm when i recieved...u said i should probably get a thermometer and take temperature for future shipment and i said that a great idea ill have to pick one up.. .. your corals were packaged great i dont deny that.. like you stated sometime the heat pack doesnt burn properly..... i usually dip with iodine every zoa i get.. here is a piece i received yesterday from the east coast and did the same procedure i did with your frags. sorry to Akwarius and the group it didnt work out better

I think I can tell one is psycho tripping, but can't tell the other ones. Just wanting to know what ones will need to be replaced.

Thanks.
