1/ I have made a cover to shade the top of the weir to give the Aps in there a hard time, not saying it will eliminate them but they do like light.

2/ On top of the weir there is a 1mm groove this is so you can put a 1mm slither of acrylic into it to eliminate the small gap between the jump guard and the top of the weir. No more small fish etc going over the top.

3/ You can buy an after market drop in feeder that fits into the D&D feeding rings which comes with it's own top. You can just drop a cube or 2 of frozen food into it. Mine came from a none sponsor in the UK and you can buy them online. I don't think D&D make one like it but it works very. They come in 2 lengths, the one in my photo is the longer of the 2 and quite reasonably priced at that.
