Some help with TBS live rock

I received my TBS treasure chest order today. Got some gnarly stuff… anyone able to ID this? Seems real slow moving. About an inch long.

That is a highly sought, red footed cucumber.

Can you possibly remove it from the aquarium and photograph it in a container of tank water? It looks like some sort of bristleworm but it's hard to know for sure or which type...

Also, there was what I think was a clam/oyster something attached to one of the rocks. It was kind of big, so I took that off and didn’t add into tank. I didn’t know if it might die and foul up the water. Was that right/wrong to remove?

These guys flatten out when on live rock.
Btw, they are not found in sand but prefer to hide under and on live rock.
Great members of a cleanup crew.

Bivalves are excellent water filtering hikers and very cool to see them in action.
I am not sure if the foot is damaged, but you could take it to a LFS or...freeze it and then feed to your tank.

Okay thanks for the quick info. I’ll freeze it and use for food. Next time will keep it in.

Is it wearing sponges? Then it’s a decorator crab.

Yes has a couple sponges on him.

You gonna find loads of bivalves and goodies you can’t buy in the shops. Love all of them on my rocks and make a great addition to help filtering the water.

Have some in my display that came with the base rock and also have some that came with the premium nano rock in my refugium.

Yep! I welcomed all hitchhikers that came in lol. So glad there weren’t any Oenone fulgida worms… the last thing I need again after finally being rid of them

Any ideas on what this thing is from the live rocks? It seems to throw out little tentacles, and then pull in sand or whatever else gets stuck to them.

Found some kind of spider eating this SPS coral you can’t buy in the shops that came in on the live rock from Tampa Bay. Couldn’t catch the spider as he kept on running into a hole beneath the coral. So decided, f*** it and super glued his hole shut. Easiest way to get rid of this pest. Super glue is the white section below the SPS.
