Any pics to show taken with the Reefing Art kit?
These are off my old iphone 7. The kit is great. Good quality aluminum bezels with glass lenses

Nice comparison. I find the polyplab filter paired with a Samsung smart phone and tweaking in pro mode produces pretty realistic results. this was taken this AM with both filters on adjusted to how it looks to me

thanks for the comparison, i could use something that just clips onto the phone, seems a lot simpler!

i once purchased a cheap set of filters (they are plastic, not glass) to put on my DSLR, but i've been mostly using my cellphone, holding the filters either up against the tank or in front of the lens...

these are the only two in the kit that i use.

ps: the tank is still ramping up, so its a bit more blue than it will be in a few hours :)

If anyone is thinking of getting the Reefing Art lens kit...buy it. This kit is awesome! Photos are from my iPhone XS using the orange lens and 15k lens with my blue lights turned up (Current Orbit IC led). I think the 20k lens comes out the same and I’d imagine a better light would be even better.

I don’t know about an app but that would be cool. But in my, limited, experience I think you need good lenses to get the good photos.

Great shots and thanks for sharing all the info. What shooting mode donu use on ur phone ? Maybe try the pro mode and play a bit with white balance that might help u correct the orange koir cast from the filter.

Just accessing pro mode on most newer phones and taking control of white balance allows a big change in control counteracting the blue in photos, but the user has to commit to learning. However, the same goes with full DSLR/Mirrorless camera... the user still has to commit to learning the gear to it's full potential to get the best photos.
