Small tentacle/mouth protruding near base of toadstool, surrounded by brown fuzzy clump?

I am unsure as to what this is, I just checked some previous photos and it’s been there at least a month if not longer, anyone know what this is? The tube looks clearish and is stationary . Any help appreciated!

I think what you are referring to is a type of sponge. (Possibly pineapple sponge but hard to tell with picture)

Sure thing, after doing some research it looks a lot like the longhorn sponge, but I am still not 100% sure. It’s in a low flow corner of the tank

Yeah the phone doesn’t pick it up very good, in person it looks like bumpy/fuzzy clump of beige, does look a bit like a sponge there, and with a clear small tube coming out of it. I just don’t know if it’s a good sponge, if it’s a vermetid snail, or why its growing (basically on) the base of my toadstool
