Looks like it is really cranking!
I'm really happy with how it preforms, I am looking to maybe put a better pump on it, but I'll most likely pick out what I think will be best and wait till I am forced to replace it.

This skimmer came with BlueLine pumps, they are like an Iwaki, high head height, I was looking at a flow of about 1100 gph for mine which would be the 55hd.

If I had to guess I at the flow this jebao dct-8000 is giving I would not put it above 1100gph, not with the restrictions from those venturi and the low head of jebao pumps.

For water volume of your size I'd really recommend an external skimmer. I have a Reef Octopus Regal 250-EXT and I run about 225 gallons of volume. I could turn it up for sure but I'd say bigger is always better with an external skimmer like the RO Regal EXT's because you can always tune to your bioload. They are incredibly easy to adjust to get a great skimmate and they are also very very stable. I can say no other skimmer (aside from my Bubble King) I've tried could do even one of those things and I've had Ultra Reef and Tunze skimmers. I will also say, that I will never use a non-recirculating skimmer again if I can help it. Mine is several years old at this point and still going strong. I've only torn it down to clean it twice but honestly I never see any decline in performance. I mainly clean it for my peace of mind. I wash the cup once a month and empty the cup once a week. Aside from that I NEVER worry about it performing right. Best money on my tank I've spent.
