I've backed off a bit on feeding Reef Roids and Reef Chili also. I was starting to get green cyano on the sand, and that seemed to correlate to my phosphates moving above .05 for any extended period of time. Mine fluctuate quite a bit, but have never been higher than .08 and generally stay in the .01 to .04 range. I have a high bioload for a 120 at seventeen fish.

From what I've seen how one person's frag of "X" grows does not necessaily mean what the next person's frag of "X" will do and probably comes down to a multitude of variables. I have examples of stalled frags, some of which eventually took off and others that never did. I just recently started selling the ones that just don't seem to want to grow to local hobbyists for next to nothing. Hopefully they have better luck and then I can get a new coral. :)
Interesting Point about Stalled Growers.
I've heard people say a certain Frag/Piece sit there for ages, and then wake up one day.
I guess I have to just enjoy the ones that are alive and thriving, and ignore the sleepers.

Nice, the palmer's blue I got from Ty is still a nub. I'd love to see it grow out like that.

That part circled is actually the original frag, which I obtained from Ty as well. :)

That is cool how it all seemed to grow away from the original frag.

Its like... Ewww gross... That's from Ty's tank. Let's all grow this way away from it! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Its a great grower once established.

After a little scare with finding a chip in the glass where I thought I needed to replace my tank, I sat last night on the sofa gazing and extremely thankful that I didn't have to tear all this work apart. The tank looked peaceful under the dwindling blues, so I thought I'd share.

Tank looks great! Talk about a relief regarding the chip.

Love your grafted monti. You should frag it and send some to College Station ;)
You started it from a small frag, right?

The fraggin' is coming. The bottom plate will eventually need to taken off or reduced.

Yes. Brought it home from an in-person visit to WWC. Really bad photo from when I first received it. I guess for a WWC frag it was a nice size.

Great view. I would love to be on that sofa... just to watch the tank.

Is that an Anacropora Slimeball in the left front? It is huge.

Far left is a Tubbs Stellata. The one left of center is a giant monti spongodes.
