Here is my small school of Orange Shoulder Tangs. They’re doing great together and super friendly. I had two and they just hid all the time. But when I added four more it changed the whole dynamic of the fish.

they are the only bony fish in my sharks and ray tank. It’s only 300g now but building an 1,100g and want to add six more!

Love these guys!

Did you get them all at that size or did you get them as juveniles?

I bet a group of vampires would look nice with that group :)

I’ve only had them a few months. I cannot buy any smaller because I have an adult Dragon Moray. He already ate one of my fish. Fortunately the tangs are wide bodied.

I think when I have 10-12 in a 15’ tank, it will be really cool. I know the 6 hang together. Wonder how many more will.

Some horrible pics of my newest addition. Still shy. Smallest Fowleri I’ve ever seen.

This tank looks so much like this guy I met a couple years back. Any chance you are from mid-Connecticut and named Joe :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Sorry man not me lol

This is my 220g. Looking at Acrylic tank MFG’s in FL for the next build. Any suggestions?

No picture of my Tangs but picture of how I sometime give my tangs a treat. My QT system is a fully planted reef system full of pods and Macro-algae. I sometime take a rock full of life and put it into my DT. This is what happened to the rock, fauna and flora on this rock after 3 days. At this point I took the rock and put it back to my QT system and replace it with another rock, when I need to thin out the life in my QT system.
The CBB having a feast eating the fauna while the tangs and fox face tear into the plants.
