really depends on the tank size and a few other parameters, I refrain from posting on here anymore due to a couple of wankers.
But yeah dont be shy with tangs if you have the space :)
It's a 525 gallon 7 feet x 4 feet. Have always loved the sohol and achilles tangs. Just not sure if I want to risk the aggression with the other four with either of these guys. And Im getting a magnificent foxface and hopefully 4 to 6 bellus angels. So bioload is becoming a little bit of a concern

One of my reasons for upgrading to a 270gal. I’ve had him since he was a baby. He ate a lot less back then. Lol

I have a 125 tall tank with a scopas tang. I want to get another type of tang. Is my tank large enough for another tang, and if so what would recommendations be?
Thanks

I brought home my first tang yesterday, a Two Spot Bristletooth! I drove to Milwaukee to get him, because that’s the only LFS I have found that quarantines their fish. He was QT’d for 2 weeks in copper then transferred to a sterile system and observed for another 2 weeks. Ate like a pig for me when I was at the store, so I brought him home and acclimated him to my DT. My 46 gallon bowfront will be his home for the next month or two, then he and the rest of its inhabitants will be transferred to my new 80 gallon lagoon build that I’m currently working on.

Took a while to get them all in one photo...!
Had the scopas and bristletooth for over 11 years.
Yellow for maybe 9 years now. Little sailfin this winter, and just got the powder blue. No fights or harassing, got a friendly bunch.
There are snail eggs on the glass between the scopas and yellow, couldnt bring myself to scrape them off.

i cant think

I have had my Ctenochaetus Binotatus for around 18 months and he only had 1 small Ich outbreak - He overcame it a week later luckily.
He’s around 2 inch now and is in with 5 wrasse, an Angel, A CBB and a Foxface

Tominis look so pretty but I rarely see them available and when they are available, they have ich, HLLE, an internal parasite ect..
