That is a really beautiful reef tank you have there! Love the large corals in there it gives a completely different vibe! Can you tell me how long your toadstools shed for and if you do anything extra to help them shed faster?
Mine rarely shed. That big leather on the right went from a 1” frag three years ago to 18” today.

Are those purple beauty's gorgonians, They seem to really be thriving in your system
I don’t recall, sorry. All I know is they have grown into those two colonies from a single little finger sized piece. In fact all the softies in the tank started out as small frags three years ago.

That’s a really nice toadstool! Like that you added the shrooms at the base as well! How long do these toadstools shed for? Also how often? What do you do to help it shed faster?
Shed for half a day every few days.

I really like the green Kenya and the gsp! How long did it take for that Kenya to grow that big? Like the shrooms and the Zoas as well!
It is a sinularia, but very similar looking and it doesn’t drop babies. I’ve fragged it twice. The original frag was two branches about the size of my index and middle fingers. That picture was taken almost exactly 2 years later.

Really? Well when they do shed how long does it last? Just an estimate
Maybe a day …. Hard pressed to recall the last time though. I come from SPS, so I run the softie tank that way ….. high light, high flow …. very little builds up on even the large leather. I also still do a 100 gallon monthly AWS, so now that I’ve deleted the 450 SPS tank that means a 75% WC per month.

Wahaha... Softies i have confidence in my collection!

AquaSD - Xmas Tree JP . - I think its a fancy name for Neon Green Neph tho.... Although mine from other people's comments is super neon green. Ignore my anthias photo bombing.

But you can see how green it is compared to the metalic green GSP below it.

OG Tyree Toadstool - its a big guy messuring 18inches across.
Although i really wish he would reach up like they normally would.

The ever so incredibly difficult to find - Deep Water Japanese Weeping Willow.
I bought this from @weelo111

Koji Wada Pink Neph... also bought from weelo111.

I'm currently trying to hold off on getting another tank purely for softies - specifically mushrooms, toadstool's, and gsp.

But in the meantime, our fairly young tank has some amazing mushies.

One thing I love about them, which really surprised me, is how much they move over the course of a day.

I love our leathers too. And zoas of course. But these mushrooms are my favorite fun guys.
