@Vivid Creative Aquatics I appreciate how you never hesitate to answer questions, even if they're questions that aren't related to your products. I've been having a terrible time achieving the flow i want in my cube. I can also never seem to eliminate the nasty film of scum on the top of my water. I added your rfg nozzle to my

it completely eliminated those two problems. The nice random flow has my corals looking better than ever, and now my water surface is always clean, clear, and aerated. I've pushed this product to as many of my reefing friends as I could. It's a wonderful product.

With that being said, I am facing an issue since I installed it. The chamber that houses my ato DOES NOT maintain consistent levels anymore. The swings aren't very dramatic, but it definitely causes my chamber to drain below the sensor at times, causing the ato to add freshwater when it isn't needed. When this happens I also see an increase in water within the display. Again, it's not a dramatic shift, but it is noticeable.

Am I doing something wrong? I have the aquatop recife 40 gallon. I ordered the 1/2 rfg kit with all 3 adapters. I'm almost 100% it is installed correctly. Currently I'm running the non adjustable stock pump from aquatop. I believe it is a 400 to 450gph pump, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm adding an ai axis 40 adjustable pump to help run it more efficiently. That's how much i love the product. Thanks in advance. Hereare some pics of the cube.

I'm glad I could be of help. I am personally a reefer first and I love talking reefing, and helping where I can.

Based on your issue, where the water level in the pump chamber varies, that sounds to me like you may be over running the drain/ wier in some fashion.

In one of our nano tank, I'll see this when the weir gets a little clogged or if the filter sock clogs up a bit.

Where does the water level sit at the wier?

Send me a DM with some more photos and we'll get it figured out.
