A couple of days ago I had the main light fixture on my tank start flickering, the AI Blade Grow 48"
Where I live, I don't have access to any Aqua illumination retailer and shipping an item like this to the US is expensive.
The light was out of warranty and I had accepted my losses and was looking at other lights already, but I decided to contact AI, maybe they know what the issue is and can send me repair parts.

The customer service representatives that I talked to assured me they would try to help me as best as they could if I could get the fixture to them, even if it was out of warranty. I bit the bullet, packed the light and sent it across continents to AI. I never expected them to contact me almost immediately after receiving the fixture and tell me they were going to replace it. They must have sent it express cause the replacement light was here extremely quickly, no shipping or repair charge, no shady communication, nothing but clear and fantastic service.

I haven't been this pleasantly surprised by service in a long while :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:
