I will be setting up my 28 jbj nano for my new clowns.I will be picking up a pair of snow onyx from BSL.I am thinking of going bare bottom not sure yet,if not it will be just enough to cover the botton by a 1/4''.I will have lps and sps in it also.

I like my bare bottom. It won't stay like that very long, will be covered by coralline algae
When I had my JBJ 28 gallon, I had a DSB, I think it kept a lot of toxic gasses that get released when you stir it

I can't tell if Dave is optimistic or still selling. I told the guys and gals at BSL today, that dzones could sell screen doors to submarine captains. I was going to try and cut back on the tanks in my house. Now I've added one. What happened?
Always room for another tank!

Well I took the stock pumps out and swapped then with maxi-jet 1200s for more flow. For lighting it will be a 250 watt hqi with a 14k phoenix bulb.

LOL you give me way too much credit my friend. You know us reefers just can't pass up opportunities to setup nano tanks when we see a nice one setup.

Wow that is a lot of light! Surely will be a ray of sunshine beaming in that one

I ran the 250 over the tank for about a year and water temps only got to 80,the light is about 10'' from the water surface.I have a small fan help keep it cool.
