Interested! I have one of your controller units now, bought used, but haven't gotten around to trying to set it up yet. I'd be interested in one more for a total of two on two tanks. Do you offer support or help with getting everything setup and running? I do have some Pi's, a modest background in electronics, and have been using Linux off and on since about 1996. Thanks for your help!

Hi, yeah for sure I'm always available to help out, no problem helping with the used one you bought either. I have some manuals that might help you get started, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for your reply! I'd love to get that controller going, and I'm planning a new build, and I'd like to get a controller on that tank too. Let me look over your guides, I'll dig out the system I have now and see if I can get it going, and I'll reach out if I do have questions.

Thanks very much for your help!

Well here is what I have. Right away I’m missing a few little things, like an AC power cable for the power bar and some Cat5 cables to connect the controller and modules.

I powered on the main controller unit, and I can see the board inside lighting up - good sign! I don’t know what Pi is in this, but I just assumed there would be an HDMI port on the controller. How are you accessing the Pi to set it up?

EDIT: I opened the case and realized it's a Pi Zero, so no HDMI, but now I have access to the memory card, and I found instructions to install the Robo Tank software, so I think I will try a reinstall.

Thanks again for your help!

Looks like you might also be missing a Y cable to power the controller and equipment extension from the same power supply, if so you'll need that to power everything or another 12v DC power supply.

Here's the manual to install the software, to connect to the controller you use SSH, the manual shows how to connect using Putty software. For now you might want to install v6.6.
