Tank looks great under these!
At the end of the day, I’d definitely recommend this fixture to anyone looking for a smooth and still relatively affordable light. I chose it mostly for the modularity, and I think more companies should make their products crosscompatible with competitors. However, don’t expect a well polished product either. There are a few design tweaks that would, IMO, improve the usability and appearance of the light w/o adding significant cost to produce.
Let us know your suggestions, we are looking at what improvements can be made to the fixtures that will work with the majority of the customers. Glad to see you are up and running. Looks good!!!
I did the same think but it wasn’t that pretty. Good job#FTStuesday
I just tallied up all my receipts from this build, and including livestock, I’m in it about $1500. Not bad for a reef tank...

I wish, I blew past $1500 a long time ago and there still isn’t one fish or coral in the tank. Well done.#FTStuesday

Nice looking Sailfin. Did you get your fish from one of the LFS?
Nice one! Mine is pretty old. Half Moon Betta. On his last fins.
I’ve been to Crystal Reef, that’s quite a drive from our area. I’ve purchased fish from Saltwater City in the past and I like that they quarantine a little bit. They are running hyposalinity in their system at 1.012 according to an employee I spoke with a couple months ago. I understand why their doing it but it makes for a long acclimation process. Barrier Reef always has nice looking stock but I’ve never bought from them. I don’t have room for a quarantine setup so I decided to work with Humblefish to stock my tank. I like the idea of an acclimated and treated fish arriving on my doorstep ready to go right into the display after a bag float. I’m really hoping it works out well. Otherwise Barrier Reef might be the next one I try. Thanks for the insight. Thanks! I love that little fish!
I get all my livestock from the locals haha. Tough the sailfin stretches that a bit, since I got her from crystal reef in Bellingham. I usually get fish from saltwater city (since they quarantine for two weeks) or a hobbyist). If there’s something rare I want however, Barrier Reef does the best and most reliable orders it seems.
How about you?
