Looks great! I have the same tank and it's running great - I had to plumb the thing with a Herbie myself but it works well enough. I don't think you really need a mixing station - I just mix mine in a 7 gallon bucket right next to it and do a 6 gallon water change every week. I have the RO all under the kitchen sink and going into a 5 gallon with a float valve (Also allows for nice RO water for the humans).

This all seems very well planned. Good luck.

I had the same setup and had good success with it the only thing I ran into was shadowing from my scape witch looked allot like yours I ran the xr 30 on my set up if I had had 2 xr 15 it would have ben better here's a pic of my old system with the xr 30 on it. It not a good picture but you can see how it had shadowing issues.

Played around a little bit, there was quite a bit of shadowing caused by the one larger rock with ledge top right side.
So I replaced with smaller rock but still kept the swim through hole and there's significantly less shadowing with this one.
Also after looking back it looks more open and less blocky/chunky.
Pics in order:
1. new FTS
2. new Right Corner
3. new RTS

So I've stuck a bunch of rock into three main pieces that make up my aquascape.
This is what I will be going forward with. I may use my E-Marco 400 to cover up the white JB water weld I used to stick everything together.
In the final, Top down shot the bad angle makes it look like it doesn't fit, I assure you it fits inside of that overflow I have marked down by an 1" or so

Another positive update today.
I broke out the apex and set everything up; meaning apex fusion, firmware updates to everything.
I'm good to start thinking out my wiring/controller setup and also thinking of a stock list for this tank.
Very exciting times coming soon!

Today I'm going to throw code into the apex and mess around with heaters, wavemaker and a pump just to make sure it all works as described.
I know each outlet works but haven't tried controlling anything yet.
I may update y'all again later today.

Thank you, I'm excited.
I played around with the apex today, bucket of water, heater, wavemaker, temp probe together making them work happily together.
Learning IF < THEN programming. I need to hangout in the apex forum and the controller sub-forum here on R2R as well.
I do like Fusion.
