Quick lil update I picked up some Armor of God zoas yesterday from a local reefer.
Here's a shot this morning after 15hrs in the tank.

Is that meteor shower on the far right?

To the right of the armor of zoas is rasta zoas further right from that on the bottom of the rock is a Miami Hurricane Chalice

Niiiiice. I had a chance to snag some at the yourreef live sale last weekend. I got a few others instead. Never had chalice before. Time for another learning curve

I was born and raised in MN but have lived in WI now for 2/3 of my life...I am a vikings and packers fan until they play each other then on those games I just watch as a football fan as the hardcore fans talk smack, good times.
It's like politics, people definitely are way too crazy and biased.

It's been almost 3 months now.
These clownfish are stunning! The color just pops, the white is so amazing it looks like it's been painted on and the orange is a very very deep color.
Most importantly they absolutely love the food, I just soak the pellets in selcon for 3 minutes, they get soft and the fish love it!!
I would definitely recommend TDO Chroma Boost to anyone with clownfish.
My OrangeBack Basslet will steal a pellet every once in awhile but prefers mysis.

So a lil update.
I recently started using Chemi-pure elite in my hob filter, water is CRYSTAL clear!!
I have almost everything ordered for the setup of this 40 breeder.
I have a Fijicube 800gph overflow.
I'm going to hard plumb the entire setup with dual 1" drilled returns with 3/4" loc line y'd off on each side going into quad wide flared nozzle tips.

A little more in depth, each sides return will incorporate 1" thread x slip bulkhead threaded into that will be a reducing coupler to go to 3/4" threads then the 3/4" loc line adapter screws into that then directly on the adapter will be a Y and then 2 short pieces of loc line with wide flare nozzle tips at the ends. (The short loc lines will be the 6 segment loc lines halved into 2x 3 segment lines.)
I have a crude drawing of what I'll be doing except I edited it and added some red lines where I'll be putting extra unions.
Also in that drawing I accidentally crossed the drains OOPS! And there is 2x 45s coming out of a T...I'm going to replace all that with a 1" pvc Y slip/slip/slip connector to reduce fittings and cost.

Right away next month I'll be ordering the final pieces needed to set this all up.
She wants vikings colors plumbing so here's a preview of that as well.

Yes I am, funny you ask, yesterday I just picked out a rock for my zoas and threw it in the brute to cycle.
Just need to get a few fragging supplies and try fragging for the first time.
Currently my rastas are growing on a snail shell that was glued to a frag plug and they need more room.

So thanks to a good friend here today I was able to order the rest of the pieces needed to get this 40 breeder drilled and setup for my daughter.
