You have no idea how close I was to upgrading. bRS had a sale recently, I just happened to check in. They had the Aquaforest 180g on sale 1500$ off and x10 points on it, which equated to about $600 in BRS points to spend. I went to check out and it dropped the promotion. I always forget they update things on east coast time, I'm typically shopping post 9pm west coast when I put down the toddler.

Calcium nitrate..sodium nitrate is what most diy users do. Easy peasy is neonitro

Haha thanks my phos is high and nitrate is low and alk around 8.4. I’m all over the olace

Raising 2-3 ppm a day shouldn't hurt anything

Probably ok, I dose 5ml every other day or so to keep my nitrates up at around 8.

FWIW I have to dose 41 ml of phosphate a day to stay at at least .06-.12. Nitrates fall slower so I hand dose those every few days.

My phosphate I checked was .5 yikes I know and nitrates 0 so trying to get them up to help with phos
