Shade it. it's bleaching and receding where it gets the most light. Give it time to acclimate to your spectrum.Any ideas?

Makes no sense lowered lights one week ago. Still getting 100 was getting 150Shade it. it's bleaching and receding where it gets the most light. Give it time to acclimate to your spectrum.
yeah, i dont think the issue is the light intensity. could it be nutrient related?Makes no sense lowered lights one week ago. Still getting 100 was getting 150
Maybe spectrum change thoughMakes no sense lowered lights one week ago. Still getting 100 was getting 150
are you messing with the spectrum?Maybe spectrum change though
Lowered whites because I was at 400 par. More blues now. Using accent lights and 10 percent whites now on ocean revive 247are you messing with the spectrum?
they use wavelengths differently, ideally, you should acclimate by ramping the blues if that's what you are increasing. par is not the only relevant metricLowered whites because I was at 400 par. More blues now. Using accent lights and 10 percent whites now on ocean revive 247
I use 2 marine ic as accent lights because I like the ramp up and down and moonlight.Lowered whites because I was at 400 par. More blues now. Using accent lights and 10 percent whites now on ocean revive 247

but did you ramp them over like 30 days? That's what I did
Ben is don't think you understand. I was baking my corals and had to bring it all down . It will be fine. Just weird its only the monti. Did not know par levels and finally had a par meter. My tank is mostly frags and can't handle that 500 par. Shane and I are going to hash some things out soon.but did you ramp them over like 30 days?
How are they attached to rocks now? Did you attach plug/disc or take frag off and attach direct to rock? Did it encrust onto rock any yet?Anybody got a good technique for reposting Acro’s to move them to a Frag rack from the rocks? Some of my old non-SBB corals are going to lose their spots. Good Real Estate locations is getting tight.
They are on the round disc of the old Frag post. The ones I’m looking at moving are ones that haven’t grown real well and have not encrusted off their disc yet. I was thinking of just glueing them with their disc onto a new Frag post. How are they attached to rocks now? Did you attach plug/disc or take frag off and attach direct to rock? no, maybe not, but it sounds like you changed your lighting spectrum and par very quickly. some corals can be sensitive to sudden changes, especially if they weren't using that white light spectrum and now they are suddenly getting lots of blue spectrum, which they do use.Ben is don't think you understand.
