Any magnets leeching? That looks like the crap I had when my magnet nuked the tank. Once I got the magnet out the algae disappeared in a couple of days.

Headed to the gun store. My wife says: "Don't spend any money without calling me first.". Sounds like permission to do more than window shop!
Welp, I'm sitting this sale out I suppose...

manually remove and siphon as much as you can. Dip those racks in peroxide like @Digitalfirex mentioned. I used blue vet flux rx and left in in for 3 weeks and it killed gha which is a harder algae to kill. You can keep some flux rx in the system for quite some time with no ill effects...at least it didn't effect anything negatively except algae in mine.

It doesn't look like lyngba, I've had lyngba, and chrysophytes. My high mag is a result of that battle. Yours looks like a particularly fast growing blue green turf algae I find off viet and indo bases. Mostly why I suggest Elysia Crispata as a remedy.

If you can, try dosing straight 3% peroxide on a doser. I have it set daily (start maybe 15ml daily). I dose peroxide in the PM and microbacter 7 in the AM.... if its all over the tank. Otherwise I've also had good results from spot treating with a turkey baster. Daily dosing hasn't had any bad effects on coral. Other wise, you can also try coral snow after manual removal.
