Hell yeah!

If you use the physical orange filter and go to pro mode and back down the WB youll likely get some better results on color in the photos. Are you taking the picture at an angle to the glass? Looks like it with some of the distortion, you can hold the camera straight to the glass andnmay give better detail. Just in case ya didnt know.

It deep and zoomed. Scratches are distortion . Did back down in pro mode. Getting better

Great reviews, built in overflow, simple to clean compared to others with more features, lift up cup vs rubber gasket.

It's on the more expensive side, but skimmers seem like a piece of equipment you don't want to skim on. I'm really on the fence though, either a nice skimmer or just a simplicity one.

I've narrowed down some of the rest of the gear.

I'm going today to see if this local place has Seapora or can order the 80 gallon frags tank to build a sump.

Red sea rollermat 1200 because wife would kill me for socks and since I travel for work frequently it seems prudent to have an automatic roller.

I need to figure out a skimmer and UV.

Significantly better. Are you using the orphek kit? I find during peak orange lense just isnt a solution, ramp down/blues its perfect and that limited window for pics, but peak AB+ just doesnt do the colors justice.

Corals look healthy!!
Ha lens from this a lol

I got the Reef Octopus Regal 200sss when I first started my current tank and it’s been perfect. My system is 200 gal. Have never had a problem with it and it skims great.

IMHO you can skimp on skimmer brand just not its tank rating. Not very many different ways to push bubbles into a cup :)

Agreed, these days people are turning them off for portions of the day to keep nutrients up. They used to say get the biggest you can afford…certainly not the case anymore. IMO put the focus on good flow and light
