SBB Dream Cake
I’ve had this over 1-year. This thing doesn’t grow for me. Anyone else still have one?

Hanna Alk reagent was inconsistent for me, between bad lots and duration of storage i was ticking money away.

Salifert alk test is just too dang simple and consistent IMO. Aside from phosphate and now iodine i have a shelf of unused hanna checkers :/

Hanna alk reagent has always been spot on and consistent for me once I refrigerated it and shake it before use.

not to mention salifert kits are significantly more affordable.

i like the simplicity of the hanna checkers, but do agree results are very skewed at times. after refrigerating the reagents i've had much more consistent results. i've found a lot of inconsistency with their ph checker (egg). luckily with their CAL checker i have pretty consistent results. i only own their ph, no4 hr, po4 ulr, cal. for mag (which i rarely test, i use AF mag). thinking of selling the ph checker and po4 and buy a ulr phosphorus checker

That photo was back in the MH/VHO days. 250 watt 14K Phoenix with T8 Actinics for supplement. Eventually went to overdriving 250w 20K Radiums that would get maybe 6 months out of them.
