Fun story on the quarantine, I don't think it'd be hard. I literally just bought another 2.5 gallon tank from Petco last night, spun up some saltwater and put an old heater and a tiny power head in and dropped new coral in it last night. It's the second tank for my nudibranches and aiptasia breeding experiment.

I'm not running filtration on it, the acan and mushroom look happy this morning.

Question:
I had a mari milli, that had an insane PE, over 4 months it showed a fair amount of growth:

I was able to frag 6 or 7 pieces off, about 3x. It was ever so slowly STN base up all while having epic PE and growing Vertically up until i fragged the entire thing.

I cut it down as the RTN was approaching the branches. Upon clipping it, ALL of the frags have just gone dormant. No PE. They are still slowly stacking growth at the tip, but not much for base. Most of the frags were significantly shaded, now theyre all green. No visibile pests. They look poor enough to be tossed:

Thoughts? Dip them? Leave them? Its been about 3-4 weeks since the haircut. The base of the colony is almost all reskinned but no PE throughout a variety of heights and flow in my tank.

mille are funny, tick them off and they can stay dormant a long time. If you keep things stable they should eventually come around.

My buddy Derek in Ct. mentioned it in passing …..man I laid it all out. Idk what their official regime is but yeah, KFC. I’d wager they met at a recent coral convention where both companies had booths- I recall seeing them there but didn’t bite like I did after the endorsement.

Lol.. just kidding...I got it the first time but wanted to see how much I could stretch it out. Definately want to hear about the results of using it though!
