i do 600g/gallon of water and i bake at 400F for 1 hr

way cheaper imo if u do decide to do that. after u bake it and are ready to mix warm up about half a gallon and mix in that, warm water will make it much faster and easier to mixed, once fully mixed just top off with fresh ro water to make the full gallon
