Yeah that's more or less what I told them. 300k is the bare minimum. They eventually hired someone with no experience to manage the market and it didn't end well. Still no pay bump. It's crazy that someone in SF would make the same in pay as i do here in Houston. It's night and day for cost of living expenses.

1000% my company at least recognizes that and has pay bands for different geographic areas. No idea how people afford to live in SF.

I had redfish for the first time in new Orleans this year, it was really good. I travelled a lot for work this year since COVID travel restrictions lifted for my company and most customers I'd visit.
