I was doing about 1-cap per week, if I remember correctly and got up around 530 Brightwell Iodide. 120-gallon tank.

After my ICP results, I stopped dosing it completely and then after 3-months and 6x 20% water changes I sent out another ICP which came back at 75 for iodine.
Well..maybe it's that high. Everything is happy as can be

Guess I should back off the dosing...need to grab that hanna tester
The current Hanna tester doesn't work properly. When I got my high results, I posted it in the SBB Tenuis thread.

Look at this, Shane from @SBB Corals is dosing "5-DROPS in 540-gallons"

Yeah, if you're a chemist with precise measurements and using a different brand of reagents in the Nitrite checker, that supposedly is more accurate.

It's supposedly gtg with the nitrite 707, red sea iodine A/B regents, and a precise amount of water and temp at 77. There's a formula for temp correction if different.

Yep. Need to be a chemist...
Lets go @Hanna Instruments Can you make a proper Iodine Checker for saltwater?

@billyocean
Do you have any updated SBB Dream Cake pics? Or new pics of the acro from your avatar?
My SBB Dream Cake lost its color quickly, but it is starting to slowly come in now.
Dream cake is in acro heaven now...face planted in a hammer while I was gone. And my avatar pic is gone too..lol. I foolishly pulled some palys off of the rock next to it with the pumps still on. A cloud of paly juice went straight onto it from about 3 inches away and it was dripping skin about 1 hour later. The two you speak of are the only 2 I've lost to such nonsense. Had one more fall in a hammer but caught it much faster and it recovered.

I have the one from your avatar. It’s still only encrusting, …..for 7-months now.
Mine was doing fantastic..better than the pic. Pandora paly +juices=not good. As soon as a saw it I thought "that was dumb...probably be fine"..nope.

Added a little 30g tote for saltwater inside, going to add a DOS and setup an auto water change of 4gallons a day and I'll refill it once a week. Been thinking of a better way around water changes and think this'll be nice. Come out to about 20 percent a month which is about all I can afford and all the space I have lol. Other port will just dump the old tank water outside into my yard

That sucks. No Palys allowed in my tank.
How much PAR did you have it in when it was looking fantastic before the paly juice got it?
